Jim Corbett National Park's Dhela zone, a 70 square kilometer forest made open to tourists six years ago, has the distinction of having seen seven tigers at once in Corbett's 75-year history. Sal forest's habitat, large grasslands, favorite hunting area of tigers, watch tower built to see wild animals from a distance, and Jim Corbett National Park's Dhela Zone attract tourists. According to other zones of Jim Corbett National Park, the tigers here are found to be large in weight, length and height. You can enjoy watching wild animals with jeep safari in Dhela Zone. Jeep Safari runs in two shifts a day, one shift in the morning and one shift in the evening.
Dhela Zone for Jim Corbett Jungle Safari has got the highest tiger spotting status after Dhikala Zone in the year 2019-2020.
According to the previous press release of Jim Corbett National Park Administration, it has been recommended to make two new roads in the forest of Dhela Jeep Safari Zone. With the construction of two new roads proposed next year, tiger spotting conditions will increase and conditions will be more convenient for tiger sightings. With the opening of various new roads, it is also proposed to increase 15 more jungle safaris.
