You will need to obtain an entry permit for the safari, which you will need to show to the forest officials at the entrance. You can book your Safari Entry Permit online maximum 45 days in advance or you can book the same day safari from the Forest Office at Ramnagar after paying the required fee. Booking is done on "first come, first served" basis and is subject to availability. Along with the entry permit, you will also need to hire a safari jeep and a guide/naturist, which are mandatory to enter the Tiger Reserve area. A maximum of six adults and two children (below 12 years) are allowed in a safari jeep, apart from the driver and one guide. It is always best to book your permit before reaching Corbett Tiger Reserve as there is always a rush of tourists for safaris in Jim Corbett National Park. A maximum of 30 safaris are allowed in the morning and 30 in the evening at Bijrani. Advance booking is required for morning safaris and permits are given on "first come first serve" basis for evening safaris. Bijrani has a forest lodge which has six rooms and a dormitory which has four beds. You can also do elephant safari here.
